Nunney International Horse Trials

We had 3 days of competition at Nunney, which didn't start perfectly, with my 3 BE100/Novice runs all managing 2 out of 3 phases well but no top placings. Yaz did, however, have a great run in the 5yo class with her lovely young horse Inchello DHI, who finished on his 29 dressage for 7th, just missing out on qualifying for the 5yo championships. The event, did, however, finish on a total high - Top Biats led the CIC2* dressage overnight after his test on Saturday on 23.1 and followed it up on Sunday with a double clear, just adding 1.2 time penalties to take the WIN, finishing a whole 5 penalties ahead of 2nd place! He was phenomenal in all 3 phases and a huge thanks must go to Nunney for making the ground near perfect with the lack of rain we’ve had, as well as to all the volunteers for three days of fantastic competition. I won a beautiful trophy, and it was very generous for the owners of the horse to receive a prize from the EHOA (The Event Horse Owners Association). This was my first international win, so it is all the more special!
